BHHP’s new pool enclosure

Hi, at the end of last season you signed up for us to get an inflatable pool dome.  After serious consideration of the idea we thought it would be a hassle.  The mere physical challenge of handling it is mind boggling and the inadaptability of it would make it very hot on those odd hot days until we would take it off for the two summer months.  Given Tim’s ability to imagine and create, he has started building a galvanized steel structure to be covered with twin wall polycarbonate sheet that has an R value of 1.7 and 250 times stronger than glass and 80% clarity of glass (as seen below).  This enclosure will have six foot sliding opens (as marked below) for ventilation as well as totally roll on and roll off.  This will cost more than twice as much but will be well worth it given it’s flexibility to control the inside temperature.  We estimate you will get not twice as much swimming but three times as windy or cloudy days won’t stop you swimming.

Because of the cost, instead of the $40 previously mentioned, it will be $75 per site for those who signed up and upto $150 for those who didn’t for the extended season.  This is less than $3 per weekend day per family.  It is an all or nothing situation so you can’t opt for just a weekend.  Visitors of those who have paid will be charged $5 per day and visitors of those who haven’t won’t be able to us the pool for the extended season (April 11 to Memorial Weekend and Sept 2nd to October 12th).

Sorry for this change and if you don’t want to participate we understand and won’t hold you to it because you signed up.

Q.  If I don't pay for the extended season can my visitors use the pool and pay $5?

A.  No.

Q.  Are the hours going to be restricted for the kids?

A.  No, unless it becomes an issue again.  There may be times when pool activities and special events are scheduled  then the details of the restrictions will be posted.

A. Up to $150

Q. What are the charges during the regular season

Q. Do the kids have to be escorted by a parent

A. No, if they are under 14 they must be escorted by an adult Seasonal

Q. Do we have to be there with our guests

A. Yes (we believe their here because you want their company not to use the pool which is already too small)

Q. Will there be room outside the enclosure to sun bathe

A. Yes, but the whole enclosure will roll off when it is hot enough to sun bathe

Q. Is this a one time fee

A. Probably not as it will take more than one season to pay for it and it will help to cover the increased costs (heat, bromine, chemicals, electric, labor, etc)

This will be amended as questions arise so check again if you send in questions

We adapt and respond as the need arises so if things get out of hand the
