The purpose of this program is to qualify volunteers for invitation to the Appreciation Banquet. For us, the banquet is the highlight of the year. It’s our way of saying thank you for everything you, our Seasonals, have done to make Berlin Heights Holiday Park a better place. It’s a time when we acknowledge our volunteers for all the effort they’ve shown during the season with a celebration. We’d like you to join us for dinner, music, dancing and prize give-a-ways. Points will be awarded for a wide range of reasons. Anything that you do to help make Berlin Heights Holiday Park a better place could earn your points. You will need to accumulate 200 points per person to be invited to the Appreciation Banquet. Points will be tracked by individual family member. Points are non-transferable to other individuals. For every 200 points you earn you will receive 1 ticket at the door to give you increased chances to win one of our fabulous giveaways. We have 21 gifts ranging in value from $20 to a 25% or 50% off of your site’s base rate. The following is a list of new ways to participate and earn points:
If you are interested in any of these assignments please contact us. Even some of our younger members can carry out some of these tasks. Attached is a comprehensive list of assignments and the # of points you will earn for it. Only 1 coordinator is needed. Example: The coordinator for the Pancake Breakfast would receive 50 points to make sure the breakfast happens throughout the season and that the supplies and volunteers needed are there. Every time the coordinator oversees the breakfast they will get 20 additional points. If the coordinator cannot make it they will appoint an acting coordinator for that week and they will receive the 20 pts. Coordinators can get additional points by signing up for other duties like set up for the breakfast and they will receive 30 points. When points are totaled for the season, if your site has 850 points you will receive 4 tickets. After the banquet, coordinators will be confirmed for the next year and points will begin again at 0. There are 2 columns, one is giving so many points for taking on the responsibility of a job and the other for each time it is done. This is a new system and may have to be adjusted for fairness and accuracy since we’re not sure how it will work out in the long run. The point of all this is to have fun!
