Mama Mallard had her babies and they were all safely corralled to increase their chances of survival..  Since we started this article Mama and her brood have escaped from the pen  and they were  on their own to fend for themselves.  She must have decided that was too much and returned with her brood to the pen!

This is our 9th season owning BHHP and molding it into a place that when we were RVing we would have wanted to be at.  Where we could feel safe and be among people who cared about their environment, nature and others.

Since we bought the park we have poured 100,s of thousands into it to make it a better place.  We can’t do everything at once and only time and a lot more money will unveil the greater picture and see all the amenities, flood control and roads in their optimum condition.

As you probably see, and we have already mentioned, we have been having trouble employing people this year.  I have been embarrassed at the condition of some of the things around the park this year but it is beyond our control, with the weather and labor shortages.  I have someone starting full time Friday so we can only hope it works out for us.

We are  still constantly amazed by how nice and generous the people of BHHP are.  The following are examples;  we got this in our drop box this week:

We just returned from a trip scouting out campgrounds and RV Resorts in Florida and we wanted to say “Thank you” to Tim and Lisa for providing such a terrific place like BHHP.  We looked at a  lot of places and we did find a very nice one, but we came home with a real sense of appreciation for BHHP, and for the high standards (and the rules) we have here.  People are always quick to complain but not always to praise, so we just want Tim and Lisa (and everyone else) to know that BHHP is top-notch and we like it that way! Thanks again to all who contribute...Dave & Sue Mattingly F5

Then both Pat Coleman and Ron Balas without being asked raked the gravel out of the grass, caused by the flooding, for us.  If they hadn’t been seen, then we probably wouldn’t have ever known.

Thank you both and all those other Angels who do those unseen good deeds, like picking up trash, that makes BHHP what it is today.

This is our true reward for owning BHHP!

Wanted: More Seasonals

To help get more Seasonals  we are offering the rest of this season free to new people coming in.  All they have to do is pay their deposit and get to enjoy the rest of this year.

Tell your other RV friends and earn yourself a ticket (or extra ticket) to the Banquet.  They say word of mouth is the best form of advertising and so you are our word of mouth.

Share the beauty of BHHP with your friends and neighbors and help us grow to our full potential.  It will only make BHHP a better place.
