Start making your plans for the 3 day Memorial Weekend. All recreational activities will be on the schedule  as well as our first Ice Cream Social of the season, Burger Bash, Potluck, Pancake breakfast, Steak dinner and Gourmet Burgers.  The pool will be open (weather permitting) and there will be a Dance and Karaoke, too!   Information sheets are posted so be sure to sign up.    If anyone is interested in coordinating a Memorial Day Ceremony , we’ll add it to the schedule .  Looking forward to a great weekend!

Summer Officially Begins!

As I was sitting on my patio enjoying one of my

favorite beverages, I witnessed the USS BHHP Paddle boat slightly listing with a man overboard in the lagoon. It was Tim and Lisa. They were in the paddle boat aerating. (the pond).  All of a sudden I heard Lisa screaming "save the cell phone" and Tim yelling "may day may day" as he went under. The accident so unnerved Miss Tidy, I had to have another one of my favorite beverages. Remember when aerating (your pond) always practice safe paddling, don't carry your cell phone and for goodness sakes Tim, take a good hot soapy shower.
