Wow what a great 2 weeks. 

Sister Tidy found her pinkies,

Benson Tidy lost his Stinky

and I had a lot of my favorite drinkies////////.

The Holiday weekend was great.

Wasn't it a great clambake?

The banquet was fun

especially if you won. 

What a great place BHHP.

Where people are as friendly and kind as could be.

9 years ago in 1996 our first banquet was held in the lodge.  Mr. German catered the event and the food was  outstanding which is why we’re here today .  Tim’s Mum was there with his niece and “I” had a terrible cold with “almost” laryngitis.  I had a sincere thank you speech planned and all I could manage was a broken up croaky   t h a n k   you…..   There were no prizes no surprises it was just okay “let’s eat”!

Well, here it is our 9th banquet and I have a terrible cold.  I was saying to Mel & Jan Haag  “How can you really say Thank You when those mere words are never enough.  Those two tiny words mean so much yet when saying them, even from the heart, seem so inadequate for what you really feel.  How can you convey to nearly 100 people how extraordinary each and every one of you are?  I hope in my conversations with you, that I have, at some point, looked each and every one of you in the eye and said Thank you and I hope  you felt it from the bottom of my heart, not just a hollow echo of  a “thank you” because that’s not how it was ever meant to be.  Please know that whenever I say “thank you” it comes from deep inside  where  each of you has touched right there.  In closing, Merci, Gracious, Dankeshein, etc.  Thank you, thank you, thank you. It’s not enough to convey how special you are, you just need to know that by observing our effort to show you how special you are by being honored here today.  We love you all.
