Last weekend Erin McGinty & Annie Pleinies had a great time bathing and grooming Cindy and also had their first riding lesson (learning to mount and dismount). They did a great job. Horse lessons, grooming, care, riding, etc. will be offered to those interested, but we need set times and appointments so see Tim. This is a great opportunity for anyone to have association with horses without the full expense and responsibility. Anyone riding must have a helmet (bicycle OK) and appropriate shoes (they should have smooth soles must have heels, this is to prevent getting hung up). Training the Miniature horses to do tricks may appeal to some of you. Tim has begun “Clicker” training and has been successful with this easy method. New ranch additions - mini horses; Magy (dark bay, 3), Teddy (white, 4), Glory (black & white, 3) and Buddy (the pygmy goat, 9) |

One Way road System
|
|
We are using this system to minimize congestion and the need to drive off the roads onto the grass to pass. As the exit is opposite the entrance this is the natural flow. This only applies to vehicles at this stage as long as golf carts move off the road to let vehicles pass. Speed limit 7 mph |

Many uses for …… …..From our Seasonals
Dan Davis reports that Bounce dryer sheets work great for removing bugs from his unit;
Jackie & Wally Richlin emailed us a list of 20 uses for the Bounce dryer sheets. Among them:
· To repel mosquitoes, Yellow Jackets put in pocket · Dissolves soap scum from shower doors · Collects cat hair. Rubbing the area with a sheet will magnetically attract all the loose hairs · Acts as a tack cloth for wiping up sawdust.
The complete list is posted on the North wall of the lodge. |

S’more News is always looking for articles for the newsletter. If a topic or tidbit has interest for you, it probably will for other Seasonals as well. Please place articles or ideas in the drop box at the office. Thanks Much! |
