Monday,  Sept 5th-LABOR DAY

With heavy rain forecasted Tim and crew worked feverishly on Monday and Tuesday to try and prevent further flooding problems.  Building up the ground on the south side would have hopefully prevented a repeat of last weekend.  Also grading around the barn to prevent extensive damage to the hard work put in by those wonderful helpers last weekend.  Many thanks to Bruce, Olivia, Joe, Nick and  Russ who gave up a couple of hours Saturday and Sunday to stack block.  You’re the best.

This Saturday we will need as much help as we can get to form a bucket brigade to carry concrete to fill the walls. The truck will be here at 10am.  It won’t be hard anyone can do it. Need more points for the banquet, this will do it.

We would like to give Olivia a big thanks for

all her wonderful work she has done on maintaining

your sites throughout this season.  She is going

back to school and will be sorely missed.  Jim also

 is taking off today through next week so all projects

will be put on hold and only grounds maintenance

carried out.  Sorry for any inconveniences.

To continue with ice cream socials for the rest of the season we need a new crew.  The sign up sheet needs to be filled in a week ahead to determine whether it happens.
