I can remember years back in the fledgling years of BHHP and even before that when it was Pin Oak Lake Park, to a time when our park was no different than any other campground. You came here to camp and that was it. Under the previous owners, there were activities but very limited, an occasional burger bash or steak fry. Since Tim and Lisa bought the park 10 years ago, activities have grown from once in a while, to once a week, to multi-events every weekend.

 

A few of the physical changes we have seen over the past 10 years include: the addition of a golf course and an inground pool, upgraded sewer, water and electric, improved sites, complete park maintenance by the owners (no mowing the grass), written rules and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all, and upgrades to the tennis courts, basketball courts, shuffle board and horseshoe pits. What more can we ask for?

 

 All of these things were possible only with the hard work and dedication of the owners, Tim and Lisa Batley, and the hard work and dedication of the volunteers. BHHP is a great place to visit and a true Home Away from Home. Thanks for 10 great years and here’s to many, many more with all our family and friends at BHHP.      Mike Timko
