Corn-hole Tournament

Congratulations to Ron Balas and Scott Dunlap for winning the Corn-hole Tournament this past weekend.  Bob Almady and Brian McGinty came in second place and Becky and Ron Rados (daughter and  son-in-law of Joe & Debbie Reising) placed third. 

A big THANK YOU to Cassidy Almady, Erin McGinty, Annie Pleines and Zack McCraw who sold cold pop and over 80 hotdogs to the spectators and players.

We are planning another tournament in September.  This tournament will be done differently.  If you would like to play, just sign up your name in the lodge.  The teams will be drawn randomly.  This way all skilled levels are encouraged to participate. If you haven't given the game a try, this is the tournament for you.  Everyone who has tried it seems to enjoy it, so don't be shy, give it a try.  You too, will see how much fun it is.

The Mystery Cruise

Dinner is next Saturday,

Aug 26th and there were

only a few seats left as

of Sunday afternoon.  

The "cruise" will depart

from under the canopy

at the lodge; boarding

passes and luggage will be issued from 5:30-5:45 p.m.  Hope you are one of the lucky few that are seated at the Captains table in the lodge for our 3 course meal (and surprises).  Please come in great spirits and ready to laugh.  Costumes fitting a "Gilligan's Island" theme (including the restless natives) is optional but there is an advantage to those that dress the part.  No plates, tableware, drinks etc are required-this is totally first class cruising at its silliest!
