Wow what a weekend we had.  It was non stop

go from about 6pm Friday to noon Sunday.  We

have never seen so many children having so

much fun.  Lots of planning went in to the

activities and how it showed with everything

going off without a hitch  and fun being had not only by those who participated but also the spectators.  The heat index of nearly 100 didn’t seem to slow things down much.

The food events also were amazing with record attendance, with over 80+ for ice cream social, 140+ for pig roast and 100+ for breakfast.  What a great job the volunteers did putting all this on for our families and us.  Thank you all very much.

The Park looked great but unfortunately the golf course wasn’t at it’s best.  The grass type has changed and we raised the mower to stop it burning of but then it looked patchy as the growth was uneven.  To make matters worst the greens mower has broken down.  Hopefully by this weekend we will have it all sorted out.

Congratulations to Dick and Linda Bateman (A7) for they are now the proud owners of the  grey Park Model which will be set up on E4.  Also George and Sally Lone (D21) will be moving into E12.

If it has been a little noisy at the pool this week I apologize as Lisa has her Newport friends here and they know how to have fun mixing witn her BHHP friends.  Things will return to normal Saturday morning.

Wow, I hope all of you had a good family weekend! I had a blast! Thank you to everyone who helped set up this fabulous weekend for us campers! There were lots of family and friends out here! I was very interested to see how they were doing the water balloon and whipped cream fight and it was hilarious! To see everyone slipping and falling and having so much fun! I thought it was really cute how the littler kids kind of stayed in a group by them selves! Abby, Hannah, and Stephanie definitely had to take really good showers after that fight! I hope all of you little kids that rode on the cart ride had a lot of fun with Abby and Stephanie! One of the best events of the weekend was the golf cart races!! Now unfortunately I was at the grocery store for the first set of races, but I did get to see the couple’s races!!!! I thought it was funny how I heard people tell their blindfolded driver to turn this way and pointed in that direction instead of saying right or left! It was a great weekend for everyone! I also wonder who is going to do the ‘BHHP Idol’!!

The Cru’s Corner!

Corn-hole Tournament

Congratulations to Ron Balas F5 and Bob Almady D16 for winning the 16 Team Tournament.  Congratulations also to Brian McGinty D15 and Billy Shea for placing second.

We will have another Corn-hole Tournament on Saturday, August 12 at 11:00 A.M.  This will be a 24 Team Tournament.  There will be a sign up sheet in the lodge if you are interested in playing.  Don't hesitate, the spots fill up quickly.

The BHHP Kids will be selling hot dogs and pop during the tournament.  Proceeds will be for the Activities Fund.  The cost of the tournament will be $6.00 a team.  We will have cash prizes for the first, second and third place teams.  The boards will be set up once again in the D-Section.  Come on down and play.

                 Thank you, Cindy Almady
