BHHP Idol Singing Contest

Win a Karaoke machine & music package from Karaoke Korner.

Solo performance only-all ages

You will be judged on appearance, stage presence, vocal ability & audience response.  Your overall performance and how you look while performing will count as much as your singing ability.  Make sure you have lots of friends in the audience because how loud they cheer will help you win.

 

The contest will be held on Sunday, Sept 3rd at 3:00 pm.  The winner will be announced at the Karaoke Show that evening.  There must be at least 6 contestants or the contest will be cancelled.

 

Music will be supplied by Karaoke Korner. Sign up and decide on the song you want to sing by August 12, and we will provide you with a copy of the music to practice with on the karaoke machine in the lodge.  If you have a question about a song you can email ladyohio@alltell.com for assistance.  See Lisa for additional information.

Friends Weekend, August 18 & 19.  Friends can stay with you for free or you can reserve them their own site for half price: $15 RV/ $10 tent.  Please contact the office if you need to reserve a site.  You won’t want to miss the Adult Poker Run on Friday and the Amazing Race on Saturday.

Annual Health Fair & Blood Drive, August 19.  The Health Fair provides free samples and information on a variety of topics pertaining to all ages, as well as screening for blood pressure and blood glucose.  It will be from 10 am until 2 pm.  Our second blood drive of the season coincides with the Health Fair from 10 am until 3 pm.  Lunch will be free for all blood drive participants and there will be a drawing for a First Aid Kit and you will be registered in a drawing for a $75 gas card. Please sign up in the lodge so we will know how many to expect.

There have been several who have suggested Columbus for our ladies getaway destination this year.  There will be a lot of deciding on what to do as there are so many options.   Polaris is a major shopping complex, the quaint German Village and Franklin Park Conservatory are some attractions.  There are theatre, concerts ,and clubs. Date is to be determined (Friday and Saturday night either end of October or November).   Sign up now if you’re interested so we can book the rooms.
