Horse News

A few weeks ago I got to a horse race. It was Standardbreds that raced. My family and I got to go in the pace car where they start.  We got a picture in the Winners Circle.  I got a whip from one of the drivers.  We got to talk to different drivers.  I had a lot of fun that night.   Erin McGinty

 

My experience out here has been great!! But today I had a near disturbance this morning I actually fell of Cindee when she went in to a fast trot when I was riding by my self.  At first riding by my self felt pretty scary but then I got used to it. Michael, Alicia, and I decided we wanted to trot so Alicia and Michael left me behind and I lost control of Cindee and fell off on my knees.  Alicia did come back and asked if I was ok. Then Tim came and put me back on Cindee. By Pepe

 

Hi I am Josh and I am here to tell you how I fell off and broke my arm!! Hannah was riding Chance, Erin was riding Nikon, Olivia was riding Sonny, and I was riding Cindee.  We were on the third ride and Erin wanted to race.  We went into the cornfield and went through the trees galloping there with out a problem, then we came racing back towards home and I fell off.

Night at the Movies

We entered a new phase with the showing of the movie “8 below” on Saturday night on a big outdoor screen.  This is what we used to do at the campground in California, but there it was dark at 8.30pm. Due to the real interest in it, we well be making it a permanent addition. Bring your blankets, chairs or “drive’in” your golf cart and make it a family affair. To make it happen I need to dig holes for poles to hold the screen. Being Christmas in July we will probably show ‘Santa Claus 2’ after luminaries and caroling.  If you have this or another Christmas DVD let us know. Also anyone who has any new releases that we could show would you please contact us.
