Here comes the bride, Missy, escorted by Jack, and led by flower girl Cassidy on a picture perfect afternoon. |

In 2006, summer begins June 21, 8:26 A.M. EDT (12:26 UT) The summer solstice is the longest day of the year, in the sense that the length of time elapsed between sunrise and sunset on this day is a maximum for the year. There are numerous native cultural celebrations focusing on the passing of the hardships of winter, the growing season, and the easy availability of food. In Ancient Gaul the Midsummer celebration was called Feast of Epona, named after a mare goddess who personified fertility, sovereignty and agriculture. She was portrayed as a woman riding a mare. (This can be seen in BHHP during any of the trail rides.) The Ancient Chinese summer solstice ceremony celebrated the earth, the feminine, and the yin forces. It complemented the winter solstice which celebrated the heavens, masculinity and yang forces. Here at BHHP, school is out and activity in the park is on the rise. Come with family & friends & use the long days of summer to enjoy the laughter of leisure, the beauty & serenity of nature , or lounge at the pool, by the lakes, or around a campfire. Of course, you won’t want to miss our great food events! Cheryl |

There was just a little bit of cake smooshing going on! |
|
Yes, there was a slow dance, but Fran’s bad back guaranteed he would not be carrying Missy over the threshold. What awaited them at their trailer were dozens of balloons lovingly stuffed in there by the kids. Oh, but it could’ve been much worse! |

Fran & Missy exchange their vows and become husband & wife and live happily ever after. |

Lynn’s Cake was not only unbelievable to look at but also to taste! |
