Text Box: This week’s article is about our Family’s horse Sonny!! He has had a HUGE "crush" on one of the others, can you guess which one!? Cindy!!! Well, being a boy, he follows her EVERYWHERE, literally!!! Everywhere Cindy goes, you’ll see Sonny right behind her!! Sometimes he gets way back but he runs to catch up every time!! Well, he had an unfortunate accident!! He saw Cindy on the other side of the window and ran his head into it!!! Seriously, she doesn’t treat him very nice to begin with and he does that to himself just to be with her!!! AWWWW! Now that’s true love!! Anyway, he ended up getting around 14 stitches on the outside of his head and 16 on the inside!! Can you imagine the headache he had that day?!! OUCH!! These horses really have a good friendship going on, cause Chance stood by Sonny side the whole time until the vet came to give him stitches!!! What a friendship!! Well, I guess with living under the same roof they have gotten to be a big happy family!!

The Cru’s Corner!

Dear Toe Socks,

After cleaning the side pasture on Monday, I helped Lisa bring the horses in for the night.  I led Chance back to the barn and I could NOT BELIEVE how gentle and calmer he was since last year.  He put his nose on my shoulder and blew in my ear.  He stayed at my side and walked with his head held high.  Toe Socks you did a wonderful job with Chance.  I hope you continue your training with him because Chance is also my favorite.
