Straight from the Horse’s mouth Happy trails seemed appropriate as I enjoyed our first horsie poker run with Rachel, Jennifer and Michael on Saturday at Edison Woods with some 150 other horses. It was quite an experience. Jeff has arranged our first hospital visit for Friday Oct 19th, which I’m looking forward to with Micky and Glory. This year has gone way too fast with lots of new things to do and friends made. There has also been some sad farewells and we wish them all well and all the best in their future endeavors. Remember we are only an email away and enjoy staying in touch, so drop us the occasional line. If we don’t see you over the winter have a good one and stay safe until we see you in the spring. |

Lisa’s Lines: Another farewell to a fantastic season. There were many successful events but let’s not forget the little things that bring us joy. Just watching everyone observe the ducklings hatch made me smile. I was surprised the kids had so much fun swimming in the back lake. When we first came here we had 2 kids Rachel Wright E1 and Steve Ball D5. Which is really cool having them return to camp now that they’re adults. No one wanted to swim in the lake that’s why we put in a pool. The rip cord brought out the daredevil in all of us. I enjoyed listening to the screams. The kids had hours of fun fishing. I was treated to the excitement of the little ones when they came up to show me the frogs and turtles they caught. There was even a catfish walking through the park! The thrill of catching and caring for your own bunny can’t be surpassed. Thank you for sharing your summer memories with me. I know I’ll cherish them too. See you in the Spring, if not before!
